Orphans have limited possibilities to learn basic things of grown-up life, like: How to live by your own; How to cook for yourself; How to use home appliances; How to lead a healthy life; How to start working; How to develop your abilities. If they are left on their own after orphanages, they have a high possibility to become part of a criminal world.
We can change the behaviour of people who are ready to help the orphans, but prefer to pamper them with gifts. They forget a simple truth: “you can buy a fish and feed for a day or you can teach how to fish and feed for a life”. They have a very stereotype view how orphans live. They think that orphans are deprived of all that usual kids have. We need to educate what is really needed in an orphans life.
